MOSCOW, 14 Jul — RIA Novosti. The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin has decided to proceed immediately to the formation of a Corporation rocket engine on the basis of NGOs "Energomash".
"When visiting NGOs "Energomash" pleasantly surprised by high production. No wonder the US are buying our engines. Discussed ways to further enhance the reliability of our RKT (rocket and space technology) decided to proceed immediately to the establishment under the auspices "Energomash" the Corporation rocket engine"— he wrote in his microblog on Twitter.
The formation of the holding company on the basis of NGOs "Energomash" has been ongoing for several years, but the completion of the process is constantly delayed.
The United rocket and space Corporation (included in the Russian Federal space Agency) had proposed to form a holding of companies of rocket engine development in 2015. The Supervisory Board of the ACCD supported the proposal in 2016, the management Board of the Russian space Agency in 2017. As reported, the legal registration of the integrated structure is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.
A similar structure, but for aviation, was established in 2007 within the framework of the state Corporation "Rostec" — United engine Corporation (UEC), whose members include manufacturers of engines for civil and military aircraft, turbines for the oil and gas industry.
