Australia has its own space Agency

MOSCOW, may 8 – RIA Novosti. The Australian government has established a national space Agency.

From 2019-2020, the Agency will have access to another 15 million Australian dollars (11.2 million U.S. dollars), which it can use to invest in international space projects.

The main tasks of the Agency will be to support the development of the space industry of Australia to ensure its competitiveness, coordination of the work of the enterprises of the space sector, communication with the shareholders of the companies, including the authorities of different levels, as well as assistance in the implementation of international cooperation in space.
The Agency will commence work from 1 July 2018.
